5-11-20 fatal car crash in dodge county under investigation…driver may have suffered medical condition

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says a man found dead following a car crash Saturday morning may have suffered a medical condition prior to the crash.   The crash happened shortly after 11am Saturday near the intersection  of County Highway E  and Sate Highway 60 in the town of Hustisford.  The initial investigation indicates the car was southbound on E from the Village of Hustisford, and left the roadway, continued through ditches and over a driveway, crossed over STH 60, crashed through a fence at LKQ Smart Parts, and came to rest after striking a storage container on the property.  Life-saving attempts by paramedics were unsuccessful and the driver was  pronounced dead at e scene.  Witnesses described observations which indicate the driver may have had a medical episode during the crash. The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle, and no other vehicles were involved.  The crash remains under investigation. It has not been determined if the death was the result of injuries or due to another medical problem.
