A new online shopping directory is now available to connect shoppers with their communities as businesses try to get back on their feet as the state slowly reopens during the pandemic. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and Main Street America has launched the Main Street Marketplace online retail portal. Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership director Amy Hansen says there are currently 24 Fond du Lac businesses listed on the website. Meanwhile, Hansen says a handful of restaurants have reopened to sit down dining. Hansen says the crowds were lighter, tables were spaced out and she felt like she was in a safe environment.
