6-2-20 senator feyen says excuse making has to stop when it comes to delays in processing unemployment claims

Fond du Lac Republican state senator Dan Feyen says there is no excuse for the long delays in processing unemployment claims during the coronavirus pandemic.  Feyen says there are people who are hurting and the excuse making has to stop. “We’ve heard from people in our office with stories that you cannot imagine,”  Feyen told WFDL news.   “There’s one gentleman who is eating every other day so his family can have food just so they can get by.”    Department of Workforce Development secretary Caleb Frostman says his agency has been working to speed the process sing of claims.   Meanwhile, Feyen says since the Safer at Home order was lifted he is hearing that people are starting to go back to work.  Feyen says it’s going to “be a little stagnant for a while” but he says it will start to go down eventually.
