6-4-20 better business bureau covid-19 economic impact study

A new comprehensive report compiled by the Better Business Bureau outlines the impact COVID-19 has had on business.   Susan Bach with the Better Business Bureau Serving Wisconsin says the report found that financial security is one of the biggest drivers of the perceived negative impact among businesses.   Bach says while financial relief is undeniable, many business owners told the BBB that more information is also critical.  So what does this all mean?  Bach says the data suggests that a new customer is emerging,  one who is more aware and intentional about how they spend their money and who gets their business.  Bach says it’s important for businesses to build trust, advertise honestly, tell the truth, and be responsive.
