7-28-14 heroin overdose defendant will be allowed to die in hospice

A Milwaukee man accused of supplying the heroin that led to the death of a Fond du lac man will be allowed  to die in a hospice center.   At a hearing in Fond du Lac County Circuit  Court Friday Fond du lac judge Dale English agreed to modify  the terms of bail  allowing  56 year old Reginald Dorsey to be in Hospice in Fond du Lac or closer to his family in Milwaukee.     Dorsey’s attorney says doctors have told him he has terminal cancer with only weeks or months to live.  Dorsey is the second person charged in the case.  Forty nine year old Jeffrey Abitz of Lomira is scheduled to go on trial in December on charges of party to the crime of reckless homicide.
