Construction is expected to begin this summer on the reconstruction of two major interchanges along the Highway 151 Bypass in Fond du Lac. Fond du Lac County Highway Comissioner Tom Jahnke says the work will include a new partial cloverleaf interchange at V including three roundabouts. As someone who lives in the area Jahnke admits the new configuration may not be as convenient for some. There will be a park and ride lot at V and 151. The Highway T interchange will be replaced with an overpass with no direct access to the bypass. Jahnke says all of these changes are being made in anticipation of the Bypass eventually becoming a freeway.
