1-28-16 nance case going to jury

The case of a Fond du Lac  woman accused of killing her husband is going to the jury.   Eve Nance  is charged with first degree intentional homicide in the shooting death of her husband Timothy Nance at their Fond du Lac home and disposing of his body in Milwaukee.  The trial started last week and the defense rested its case Thursday morning.  Closing arguments were held Thursday afternoon.  The jury will begin deliberations at 8am Friday.  The prosecution tried to prove Nance killed her husband because she was upset he was having an affair.  Nance said she wasn’t mad at her husband, and that the shooting was an accident when he threatened her with a gun.  District attorney Eric Toney told the jury the forensic evidence showed the shooting could not have happened the way the defendant claimed it did.
