A Fond du lac woman has been found guilty of killing her husband. A Fond du lac jury deliberated about two hours Friday morning before finding Eve Nance guilty of first degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse. Nance was convicted in the shooting death of her husband Timothy Nance at their Fond du Lac home and disposing his body in Milwaukee. The prosecution tried to prove Nance killed her husband because she was upset he was having multiple affairs. Nance said she wasn’t mad at her husband, and that the shooting was an accident when he threatened her with a gun. During closing arguments District attorney Eric Toney told the jury the forensic evidence showed the shooting could not have happened the way the defendant claimed it did.
