3-13-20 message from fdl children’s museum re: coronavirus

As reports of the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) circulate and more cases are acknowledged in Wisconsin, all of us at CMFDL are working hard to ensure that we are doing everything in our power to keep the museum as clean as possible! Not only are we adhering to our strict daily cleaning policy, we have implemented additional, precautionary cleaning procedures to ensure that our space is clean and free of germs using our approved, industry tested supplies.  The hand sanitizer available at the museum for public use that meets the requirements to kill the germs that are associated with this virus.   The museum will continue to be open for play! We are keeping a close eye on the situation and will keep up to date with what information and recommendations are being released by the Fond du Lac County Health Department as well as on a state and national level. Any information about museum closures will be up to date on our website and Facebook page.    Be safe, be smart, and WASH YOUR HANDS! We ask that if you or your child feel sick to please postpone your visit until you are healthy!    This virus and sicknesses in general can be difficult for children to understand. Check out this great video – Coronavirus Explained! (for kids), by Dr Michelle Dickinson to help explain what is going on to your children if they have questions regarding what they may view as a very scary time in their lives.
