Charter Communications has announced it will offer free Spectrum broadband and W-Fi access for households with K-12 and or college students who do not already have a subscription. The free access will be for 60 days. The news comes as many schools, colleges and universities close and transition to online learning in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. According to a company press release Charter will partner with school districts to ensure local communities are aware of these tools to help students learn remotely.
