6-3-20 thelma sadoff center for the arts reopens

The Fond du Lac Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts has reopened with two new art exhibitions, and still hopes to be able to hold concerts at some point this summer.    The Thelma opened recently after being shut down for two months due to the coronavirus pandemic.   Director Jacqui Corsi says the building is sanitized and visitors can expect new restrictions including limits on the number of people in the building,  social distancing, and encouraging visitors to wear  face masks.    Corsi says it’s a big difference from 2013 when the Thelma opened  with fantastic fanfare, huge crowds and a big party.  “It’s really about bringing the community together and we encourage people to gather and now we can’t so we had to get creative about it,”  Corsi told WFDL news.  Corsi says the second phase, hosting concerts, is still in discussion.
