A free Covid-19 community testing will be available at the new
Fond du Lac County Highway Garage located at 1820 S. Hickory St., Fond du Lac, Wi., through a collaboration between the Wisconsin National Guard, the Fond du Lac County Health Department, Fond du Lac County and Agnesian HealthCare, a member of SSM Health.
Everyone is encouraged to be tested, even if you are NOT experiencing symptoms. The community testing site is available to those ages five and older. Contact a pediatrician or healthcare provider for children under five years old.
TESTING DATES:
– Friday, August 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
– Saturday, August 29, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
TESTING SITE DETAILS:
– Fond du Lac County New Highway Garage – 1820 S. Hickory St., Fond du Lac, Wi.
– Drive-thru testing; public should remain in their vehicles throughout the entire process
– If you don’t have a vehicle, testing is still available to you on-site
– Be sure to wear a mask
– Follow signage to the testing site
NO APPOINTMENTS NECESSARY. You can pre-register 24-hours prior to the test date by visiting
register.covidconnect.wi.org or while you wait in line using your smartphone with the QR code on the
attached poster. You will need to enter an e-mail address when registering and you can use the same
e-mail address for multiple family members. Once you have registered, you will be e-mailed one QR code for every person registered. Have your QR code ready when you go to the test site, as you will have to show the QR code to staff twice. If you do not register online, you may still be tested. Staff will
register you on-site but it will take more time.
NO IDENTIFICATION IS NECESSARY. You will be asked your name, birth date, address, phone number, race, ethnicity and gender. Minors need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can consent to testing. The Wisconsin National Guard will perform the testing.
NEGATIVE RESULTS – you will be e-mailed a secure link to view and print results
POSITIVE RESULTS – you will be called by contract tracing staff
