The Agnesian HealthCare Foundation’s Charity Open has surpassed it’s fundraising goal. This year’s virtual event, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, raised just over $300,000 topping the $250,000 goal. The money goes to the Hospice Home of Hope. In 2019 , just under 1,000 hospice patients in the Fond du Lac and surrounding communities received hospice care with 30 percent of these patients receiving financial assistance for the length of their care – approximately 65 days on average.
