A Beaver Dam man is going to prison for threatening a police officer. Dodge County Circuit judge Brian Pfitzinger sentenced 23 year old Samuel Stephenson to three years four months in prison and five years extended supervision on charges of Battery or Threat to an Officer and Felony Possession of THC. According to a criminal complaint after an attempted burglary and footchase with police, officers used a taser to take Stephenson into custody. As he was being arrested Stephenson resisted and threatened to hit the officer and smash the face of the officer’s K9 with a brick. While this incident occurred, Stephenson was on probation for a felony drug case.
