Two people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries following an early morning fire that severely damaged a Fond du Lac residence. Firefighters rescued one person and a second victim escaped on their own from the two story, multiple tenant home at 159 West Arndt Street. The fire caused extensive damage and the structure is uninhabitable.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
