11-21-20 fdl council candidate

There are still several days before candidates can take out nomination papers to run for local office in the spring election and there already is a challenger for Fond du Lac city council.   Lawrence Foster issued a press release Friday stating that he is officially announcing his candidacy for council because of his “passion to drive positive change within the community.”  “We could easily be capitalizing and leveraging our local highlights and our proximity to our neighboring major Wisconsin cities and attractions,”  the Fond du Lac native said.  Foster currently serves on the city’s advisory parking and traffic board.   There are three seat up for election in April.   Incumbents Dan Degner and Alicia Hans are up for re-election.   Council president Brian Kolstad cannot run because of term limits.
