12-9-20 white christmas odds-wisconsin

So what are the odds of a white Christmas this year?   A little less than three weeks before the holiday, National Weather Service meteorologist, Denny Van Cleve, says  at this point it’s not looking all that good.   Van Cleve says historically Wisconsin has at least an inch of snow on the ground at Christmas about 60 percent of the time.  Van Cleve says the good news is the weather pattern appears to be looking a bit more active this weekend.  The bad news is above normal temperatures are in the long range forecast for the rest of the year.
