A man was rescued Tuesday morning after falling through thin ice on Beaver Dam Lake. Using his cell phone the victim said he had fallen through the ice by an ice heave on the lake and was able to get out of the water but was unable to make it back to shore. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office used a drone to locate the individual on the Lake west of Sunset Bay Drive near the Fish Camp boat landing about 200 yards from shore. Rescue personnel used a hovercraft to bring the person back to shore.
