1-15-21 thiesfeldt signs letter asking vice president to hold off certifying presidential results a day before capitol riot

Fifteen Wisconsin Republican lawmakers including Fond du Lac state representative Jeremy Thiesfeldt asked Vice President Mike Pence to put off certifying the presidential results a day before a mob stormed the U.S. Capitol to try to prevent Joe Biden from becoming president.  The 15 Wisconsin Republicans were joined by 76 lawmakers from other states who sought a 10-day delay to conduct an audit of the election results.   In addition to Thiesfeldt other local Republican lawmakers to sign the letter were Timothy Ramthun of Campbellsport, and  Michael Schraa of Oshkosh.
