2-23-21 small business survey

A new survey shows  Wisconsin small businesses are not optimistic for a quick rebound this year during the coronavirus pandemic.  National Federation of Independent Businesses state director in Wisconsin Bill Smith says small business owners expecting better business conditions in the next six months declined seven points to the lowest level since November of 2013.   Smith says the pandemic’s impact on small business in Wisconsin has been very uneven.  Smith says 74 percent of Wisconsin small businesses say increasing the minimum wage to $15 an hour over the next five years would negatively affect their business.
