2-27-21 feds helping fdl county sheriff’s office in cold-case missing fdl man investigation

The FBI is helping the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office in the case of a Ripon man who went missing more than two decades ago.   James Ruhland was last seen in October, 1995.  His car, full of his personal possessions, was found at the Stretch Truck Stop in North Fond  du Lac about a month later.  Sheriff’s Lieutenant Chris Randall says Ruhland’s name has been entered into an FBI database, that issues public alerts in hopes of generating new information about the case.  The family is offering a $15,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the resolution of the investigation and bringing James Ruland home.   Anyone with information is asked to the call the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
