Department of Administration (DOA) Secretary Joel Brennan announced 141 Wisconsin school districts and libraries will receive nearly $3 million in 2021 Technology for Educational ACHievement (TEACH) Information Technology Infrastructure grants. Lomira is getting a $22,000 grant, Waupun receives more than $36,000, and Ripon is receiving12,000. TEACH grants are awarded annually on a competitive basis to eligible school districts and libraries for the purpose of improving the capacity of rural communities to utilize technology for students and library patrons. This year, demand for TEACH grants exceeded the amount of funds available, with $3.9 million in grant requests from 160 eligible school districts and 15 eligible libraries across Wisconsin.
