Motorcyclists are 29 times more likely than passenger vehicle occupants to die in a crash and four times more likely to be injured. May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness month. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s captain, Bill Tadych, says there were two motorcycle fatalities and one moped fatality in Fond du Lac County last year. Tadych says two thirds of fatal motorcycle crashes involve another vehicle, behooving motorists to keep an eye out for motorcyclists. Tadych says dress for safety starting with wearing a helmet.
