A Milwaukee man is in custody following a high speed chase in Fond du Lac. It started early Sunday evening when a Sheriff’s deputy pulled over a vehicle for multiple moving violations on Hickory Street near Interstate 41. The driver got back into his car and fled, driving through a gas station parking lot, and got back on to Interstate 41. During the pursuit, the driver was observed tossing two bags and a cell phone from his vehicle. The suspect vehicle reached speeds of approximately 120 mph, before exiting on Johnson St where he became stopped in traffic and was boxed in by law enforcement squad cars. He was taken into custody at gun point. The pursuit traveled 4.1 miles. There were no reported damages to any vehicles.
