5-18-22 laconia high school honored

Laconia High School in Rosendale has been named in the U.S. News and World Report’s Best High Schools in the Nation report.  The high school is among the top forty percent of schools in the nation for the third consecutive year.  High School principal, Diane Raue, says in addition, the report names Laconia High School as the number one high school in Fond du Lac County.  Raue says Laconia High School serves approximately 315 students, with 22 percent of its student population attending through open enrollment.  U.S. News evaluated approximately 18,000 public high schools across the country,  using data on enrollment, graduation rates, student body demographics, free and reduced price lunch, and test results.  The analysis also examines participation and performance on college level coursework.
