6-23-22 hot temps to start first week of summer

Summer is getting off to a hot start in Wisconsin, and it’s going to last for a while.  The first official day of summer saw high temps in the mid to upper 90s with a heat advisory issued for much of the state.  National Weather Service meteorologist Chris Stumpf says the hot weather will continue.  Stumpf says high temps in the mid to upper 80s are in the forecast for at least the next couple of weeks.  “With the drought that we did have, that can tend to support warmer temperatures,”  Stumpf told WFDL news.  “…the drier surface can allow for temperatures to be a little bit warmer.”
