City and county offices in the Fond du Lac City/County Government Center are closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The Municipal Service Center office is closed however yard waste and brush may still be dropped off during the holiday hours. Also, the bulky waste drop off site, is open November 25th (9am-3:15pm) and Saturday, November 26th (8am-12pm). Recyclables normally picked up Thursday will be picked up Friday. Garbage normally picked up Friday will be collected Monday, and recycling Saturday. The Senior Center programs and City Transit buses will not be operating on Thursday or Friday. Both will resume regular schedules on Monday, November 28th. The Fond du Lac Public Library open on Friday, November 25th. Fond du Lac county offices in the Government Center, Sheriff’s Office lobby window, Portland Street Annex including the Veteran Services Office, Highway Department, Department of Social Services and the Department of Community Programs are closed Thursday and Friday.
