The Fond du Lac Area United Way has met its fundraising goal. United Way executive director Amber Kilawee says the United Way has met it’s goal of raising $500,000 for its member agencies. “All the folks that supported an event, gave money, gave of their time…because of you we can say that we have met our goal,” Kilawee told WFDL news. Kilawee says fundraising has become challenging for organizations like the United Way in recent years.
