Two teenage girls have been arrested for vandalizing the shelter area near the Fond du Lac Junior Football League practice field. Assistant police chief Steve Klein says it didn’t take long for detectives to identify the girls on the surveillance video seen smashing commemorative brick pavers. “In fairly short order we were able to quickly identify the individuals involved. Surveillance video before the actual vandalism took place showed two girls and two boys at the shelter area. Through some collaborative efforts with juvenile intake resources they were able to identify the two girls in the surveillance footage.” Klein says the girls, ages 14 and 15 were arrested. He says investigators determined the boys were not involved.
