There will not be a recount in the 6th congressional district election. State senator Joe Leibham said after a review of the final election results and prayerful consideration with his family he decided not to seek a recount. Leibham lost to state senator Glenn Grothman in the August 12th primary election. Grothman will face Winnebago County executive Mark Harris in the November election for the seat being vacated by retiring Fond du lac congressman Tom Petri.
