9-25-14 ag debates

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin attorney general hopefuls Brad Schimel and Susan Happ have agreed to two more debates.  Both candidates say they have agreed to appear in an Oct. 12 debate on WISN-TV in Milwaukee and in an Oct. 29 debate in Madison sponsored by the Wisconsin State Bar Association, WISC-TV and WisPolitics.com.  They had already agreed to a debate on Oct. 24 in Madison. That debate will be sponsored by Wisconsin Public Television, Wisconsin Public Radio and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Schimel, a Republican, serves as Waukesha County district attorney. Happ, a Democrat, serves as Jefferson County district attorney. They’ll square off in the Nov. 4 election to replace incumbent Republican Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen, who isn’t seeking re-election.
