A Fond du Lac police officer used a Taser before taking an Oshkosh man into custody this week. Officers were called to a tavern on Ruggles Street Monday afternoon to a report of an unruly patron. Police say when officers arrived the man ran toward the squad in a threatening manner and began fighting with the officer even after the Taser was deployed. The officer was eventually able to hold the man on the ground until additional officers arrived.
