The Fond du Lac County Clerk is predicting a high voter turnout next Tuesday. Lisa Freiberg says a good indicator is absentee voting and she says a lot of residents are casting their ballots early. Freiberg says she did hear from one clerk who said absentee voting was down a bit. Freiberg says that may be due to some of the early voting restrictions passed by Republican lawmakers. Freiberg says while it may not match a presidential election she is still expecting a high turnout. The main races on the ballot locally are for governor, attorney general and the 6th congressional district seat, plus a handful of legislative races and local referendum questions.
