City offices in the City/County Government Center will be closed on November 27th and 28th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no refuse or recycling collection on Thanksgiving or the day after Thanksgiving. The Municipal Service Center will also be closed on November 27th and 28th for all services, including refuse and recycling collection and bulky waste drop off. Refuse and recycling normally collected on Thursday will be collected on Wednesday, November 26th, one day early, along with the normal Wednesday collection. Refuse and recycling normally collected on Friday will be collected on Monday, December 1st, along with the regular Monday collection. Please have your materials set out by 5:00 am to accommodate the additional collections on these dates. Yard waste and brush may still be dropped off during the holiday hours. The Senior Center will also be closed November 27th and 28th. City Transit Buses will not operate on November 27th or 28th. Buses will resume regular routes on December 1st. The Fond du Lac Public Library will be closed on November 27th, but will be open on November 28th.
