1-17-20 winter storm

For the second weekend in a row a winter storm is expected to give Wisconsin motorists headaches.   National Weather Service meteorologist Paul Collar says a wintry mix of snow, strong winds and even the possibility of  freezing rain are in the forecast for our listening area, including Fond du Lac and Dodge counties Friday night and Saturday.  Collar says after unseasonably mild temperatures to start the new year,  Wisconsin is in a typical winter pattern of cold and snow.  “We got this one coming in.  Maybe next week we’ll have another one.  So we’re in kind of a pattern.  In between that we’re going to have an outbreak of some pretty bitter temperatures as well,”  Collar told WFDL news.   A winter weather advisory is in effect for much of the state including FDL and Dodge counties from 5pm Friday until 6pm Saturday.
