7-16-14 cool weather

After a rainy June and high humidity to start the month of July, the National Weather Service says this week is shaping up to be great weather wise.  Meteorologist Paul Collar says below normal temperatures with no rain are in the forecast for the rest of the week.  Collar says after one of the highest rainfall totals on record in June…precipitation so far this month is down slightly…but still on pace to be at least slightly above normal.   “We’re at about, for Fond du Lac, about an inch and a third of rainfall for the month and we normally get about 1.7 inches in July,”  Collar told WFDL news.   We have yet to seen any temperatures above 90 this summer…let alone an extended heat wave.
