Fond du Lac Police are investigating a report that a woman was stabbed in the arm during a fight over the weekend. Police were called to the 100 block of Third Street early Saturday morning to a report of a fight and located a woman who had been stabbed in the arm. According to a press release she was treated and released from the hospital. Police say the woman had confronted a group that was creating a disturbance outside her residence. The suspect is described as a muscular black male possibly wearing a polo shirt. The suspect was seen fleeing the area in a 1980’s or 1990’s maroon SUV driven by a white female.
