11-26-14 attorney general-transition

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Attorney General-elect Brad Schimel has named his transition team as he prepares to take over the state Justice Department in January.  Schimel announced Tuesday he has chosen attorney Andrew Cook to serve as his deputy attorney general and lead the seven-member transition team. The group includes Avie Bie, a former state Public Service Commission chairwoman; attorney Michael Brennan, a former Milwaukee judge; and attorney Mark Cameli, who served as chief of the civil division in the U.S. attorney’s office in Madison.  Schimel also has tapped former Lt. Gov. Margaret Farrow; Brian O’Keefe, a current DOJ administrator; and Raymond Taffora, vice chancellor of legal affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a former Wisconsin deputy attorney general, to serve on the team.
