The planning for 2015 Fond du Lac street construction projects is underway. Public Works Director Jordan Skiff says there are four proposed street projects for this year. The streets are W. Division Street (Brooke Street to Macy Street), Walker Street (W. Twelfth Street to Military Road), Cedar Street (W. Twelfth Street to W. Ninth Street), and W. Eleventh Street as an Unimproved Street from Farewell Avenue to the west dead end (Hickory Street). The City Council approved preliminary assessments at their meeting last month. “We’re planning on probably starting construction in May and so the bid opening will happen in March,” Skiff told WFDL news. Skiff says the Division Street project is the biggest one in Fond du lac this year.
