A Waupun man accused of beating a pregnant woman has been charged. Twenty one year old Zachary Disbrow, made an initial appearance in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court on charges of false imprisonment, misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct, all with a domestic abuse penalty enhancer. Waupun police were called to a Fond du Lac Street apartment on Jan. 19 for a report of a domestic abuse incident. According to a criminal complaint Disbrow grabbed the woman and threatened to throw her down the stairs. Disbrow told police he gently grabbed the woman, knowing she was almost five months pregnant. A preliminary hearing is scheduled March 20.
