A Fond du Lac man was seriously injured and two men are in custody following a fight over the weekend. Assistant police chief Steve Klein says a 23 year old Fond du Lac man was transported to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee after he was repeatedly kicked in the head during a fight outside the Reid Terrace apartments Friday night. Klein says a 35 year old Fond du Lac man was taken into custody at the scene but a second man involved fled the scene. Klein says a verbal argument between the suspects and victim escalated. “Apparently it was quite an aggravated assault in which the suspects were kicking the victim in the head and repeatedly punching him,” Klein told WFDL news. Police learned the second suspect was headed to Mexico and police obtained an arrest warrant. The second suspect was arrested by police in Dallas, Texas after getting off a bus.
