The vote totals in a hotly contested town board race were delayed because of long lines at the polls. Jim Rosenthal and John Abler were the winners in Tuesday’s race for Taycheeda town board. Rosenthal received 951 votes and Abler got 947. They defeated Bob Norris and David Howell. Norris received 767 votes and Howell received 591 votes. There was a long line of people waiting to vote when the polls closed at 8pm. The results weren’t in until close to midnight.
