Seventh Street from South Main Street to South Park Avenue
Schedule: May 2017 to November 2017
Description: The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
September 18th to September 22nd: The asphalt paving contractor will complete fine grading over the weekend in preparation for asphalt pavement which is schedule for Monday and Tuesday, weather dependent.
Traffic Impacts: Seventh Street is closed to through traffic. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.
North Military Road from West Follett Street to West Scott Street

Description: The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
September 18th to September 22nd: The utility contractor will continue installing storm sewer from McWilliams to Cotton Street. The second utility crew will begin watermain at Follett Street working north. They will complete several of the tie-in utilities on the side roads as well.

Fifth Street from South Marr Street to South Park Avenue

Description: The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
September 18th to September 22nd: The concrete contractor will finish placing concrete sidewalk early in the week. The grading contractor will ramp driveways and begin restoration work. The electrical contractor will continue installing electrical boxes, wiring and street lights.
Traffic Impacts: The south intersection of 5th and Marr Street will remain closed for another week to allow the concrete pavement to reach final cure.

Ellis Street from Fourth Street to Eight Street (North & South Leg)

September 18th to September 22nd: The electrical contractor will complete the installation of the electrical boxes, wiring and lights along Ellis Street from 4th to 6th Street (north leg). The asphalt paving contractor will complete fine grading over the weekend in preparation for asphalt pavement which is schedule for Monday and Tuesday along Ellis from 6th to 8th Street (south leg).
Traffic Impacts: Ellis Street is closed to through traffic. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. Parking is not permitted on the street during working hours.
Whispering Springs Drive
Schedule: August 28 2017 to September 15, 2017
Description: The project includes pulverizing existing pavement and re-paving the roadway.
September 18th to September 22nd: Pavement has been placed and the contactor will continue with restoration.
Traffic Impacts: Whisperings Springs Drive will remain open to local traffic.
CTH VV (PIONEER RD) from Hickory Street to Rogersville Road
Schedule: April 2017 thru November 2017
September 18th to September 22nd: The contractor will continue to place concrete pavement and place concrete curb and gutter along Military Road and also on CTH VV (Pioneer Road) between Military Road and Hickory Street. Landscaping work along CTH VV (Pioneer Road) may also continue. Work on the overhead sign supports is also scheduled to start.
Traffic impacts: CTH VV (Pioneer Road) from Hickory Military Road is closed between CTH VV (Pioneer Road) and South Seymour Street. The closure for Military Road is tentatively scheduled to be complete in early October. The contractor is planning to switch traffic onto the new concrete of the eastbound lanes of CTH VV (Pioneer Road) near the middle of the week.
