Republican congressman Glenn Grothman says he’s not sure any legislation regarding gun control or mental illness could have prevented this week’s shooting massacre in Las Vegas. A gunman opened fire with automatic weapons on a crowd of concert goers, killing dozens and injuring hundreds. “Its horrific,” Grothman told WFDL news. Grothman says he’s thankful and somewhat surprised that an attack like this hasn’t happened before. “There’s so many horrific things you can imagine happening when you have thousands of people together. Given the lone nuts and terrorists trying to do something I think we can be grateful it took this long before something like this happened.”
