A 31 year old Fond du lac man was seriously injured when his bicycle was struck by a car in Fond du Lac. Police Lieutenant Ed Wenzel told WFDL news on the scene that the crash happened shortly after 7pm Monday in the intersection of 4th Street and National Avenue. The bicyclist suffered head injuries in the crash. Wenzel says the man was not wearing a helmet and did not have a light on his bicycle. He was conscious when rescue personnel arrived. He was flown to the hospital by Flight for Life helicopter.
