Motorists are reminded to slow down and stay alert when driving through work zones. This week is Work Zone Awareness Week. The campaign theme is “Drive Like You Work Here.” Fond du lac County Highway commissioner Tom Janke says motorists simply need to pay attention to the road. According to the National Highway Safety Administration from 2016 to 2017 there was a two percent increase in work zone fatalities across the country.
