East Cotton Street from North Park Avenue to McKinley Street
Schedule: May 2019 through September 2019
Description: The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
September 13 th to September 20 th : The concrete contractor will be finishing up concrete work and the grading contractor will begin backfilling curb and preparing terrace areas for topsoil placement.
Traffic Impacts: East Cotton Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.
McKinley Street from Rose Avenue to Stow Street

Marquette Street from Arndt Street to McWilliams Street

Description: The project includes reconstruction of the sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, street, and lighting.
September 13 th to September 20 th : The utility contractor will finish installing storm sewer and sanitary sewer north of   Cotton Street.
Traffic Impacts: Marquette Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.
Arndt Street Bridge Replacement, Arndt Street between Satterlee Street and Lincoln Avenue
Schedule: June 2019 through October 2019
Description: The project includes the replacement of the Arndt Street Bridge over the West Branch of the Fond Du Lac River. This project is a partnership between the City of Fond du Lac and the Wisconsin Department of  Transportation (DOT).
September 13 th to September 20 th : Contractor will release the false work and begin forming and pouring the wingwalls, sidewalks and parapets on the new bridge deck.
Traffic Impacts: Arndt Street between Lincoln Ave. and Satterlee Street is closed to thru-traffic. Boat traffic under the structure will be restricted at time as work progresses.
South Main Street from 21 st Street to Pioneer Road
Schedule: August 2019 through September 2019
Description: The contractor plans to mill asphalt and pave the asphalt surface on Tuesday and Wednesday.
September 13 th to September 20 th : The electrical contractor will be removing light poles, bases, installing new bases  and reinstalling lights. Paving operations are planned to begin Tuesday, September 17 th .
Traffic Impacts: S Main Street will remain open to through traffic with traffic restrictions in place until Tuesday  morning. Tuesday and Wednesday the road will be completely closed to through traffic for milling and paving  operations. There will be a signed detour around the project area utilizing 9 th St, Park Avenue and Pioneer Road for both northbound and southbound Main Street traffic. County Road V from Pioneer Road to Fond du Lac Avenue Pioneer Road from Sherwood Boulevard to Wedgewood Road
Schedule: April 2019 through November 2019
Description of work: The project includes reconstruction of the water main and services and partnership with Fond du Lac County for new storm sewer, street, pedestrian trail, and lighting.
September 13 th to September 20 th : Fond du Lac County Highway Dept continues work on storm sewer installation and common excavation on CTH V from Crestview Lane north.  Electrical Contractor continues to install conduit and bases on CTH V from CTH VV north to Mequon Avenue.  CTH VV segment, the roundabout and CTH V south of the intersection have first layer of asphalt installed along with all curbs and side walk areas backfilled with top soil.    Concrete contractor scheduled to move back in week of 16 th to continue pouring islands, truck aprons and start setting and installation of the new curb and gutter, sidewalk, and driveways along CTH V north of CTH VV Pioneer Road segment up to Mequon Ave.  Substantial completion date for this portion of the project is anticipated for the end of November.
Traffic impacts: County Road V from Fond du Lac Avenue and Pioneer Road is closed to through traffic. Additionally,  Pioneer Road from Sherwood Blvd to Wedgewood Lane is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED – LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY” signs. Project Detour:  North on Fonddu Lac Avenue to South on Martin Avenue to west on Pioneer Road.
