A logo contest is underway for a new Fond du Lac festival. Ellen Balthazor is the coordinator of Spark: A Graphic and Interactive Arts Festival. Balthazor says the contest requires submissions be in a vector format, but the public is invited to submit hand-drawn logos in a special contest. Balthazor says The Moraine Park Technical College Graphics Club will convert the winning hand-drawn logo to a victor file so it can be entered into the official Spark logo contest. Entries mys be postmarked no later than November 7. More information can be found at sparkgraphicartsfestival.com. Balthazor says the festival is planned for August 2020 at several venues throughout the community including downtown galleries, the library, Children’s Museum and Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts.
