An Eden man was seriously injured in an alcohol-related one vehicle rollover crash in Fond du Lac County. When sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene in the area of Highway V and Greenway Road around 3am Saturday they found a pickup truck on it’s roof with nobody on the scene. Investigators say it appeared the pickup was northbound on CTH V, when it left the roadway striking a driveway entrance and became airborne. Ultimately the driver, a 34 year old Eden man was found at a nearby residence. He had sustained serious injuries and was flown by helicopter to Theda Care Medical center in Neenah. He was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated first offense. Investigators say the driver does not appear to have been wearing a seatbelt and alcohol was a contributing factor. He was also cited for operating left of center and failure to fasten safety belt.
