2-24-21 envison greater fdl annual meeting

The president of Envision Greater Fond du Lac says resilient is probably the best way to describe Fond du Lac County businesses and industry in 2020.  Envision held it’s annual meeting last week to share the successes of last year and to look to the future.  Parafiniuk says during the pandemic the organization’s membership retention rate was 90-percent, compared to an average rate of 92-94 percent.  Looking to the future, with the vaccine rollout continuing and COVID-19 cases on the decline, Parafiniuk says the future looks bright for local businesses.  Former Fond du Lac city manager Tom Herre received the Lifetime Achievement award,  Ledgerock Distillery and 3 Sweets Bakery take home the Entrepreneur of the Year award,  Ernessi Farms and Society Insurance receive the Business Excellence award, and Craig Much is the Volunteer of the Year.  The Eden-Schneider Award goes to the Fond du Lac County Health Department.
